Charles Cushing: New Philly Skyline Print

Renowned artist Charles Cushing has spent his better days in Philadelphia, honing is skills from his days at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts in the 80s to his activist painting, reproducing Thomas Eakins' The Gross Clinic to raise money and awareness to keep the classic in Philadelphia, as opposed to a move to a Wal-Mart museum in Arkansas.

Charles' work is seen across the Philadelphia region, most notably at 2 Penn Center -- and art print shops. His painting of South Broad Street with the Kimmel Center has been a best seller in the time since the Kimmel opened, and his collages of South Street, Old City and Center City are instantly recognizable.

Now it's nearly 2007 and the Philly skyline is growing. This 22" x 44" lithograph is a study of the skyline and its surroundings as seen from the Belmont Plateau, and is the first of its kind to include both Cira Centre and the as-yet unfinished Comcast Center. Get a leg up on everyone by having this new-skyline print on your walls now.
